I am a keen runner and member of local running club Bitton Road Runners and throughout the year I like to take part in a number of road races including 10k's 10 milers and the testing course of a half marathon. My favourite half marathon and one of the most challenging in the UK is the hogweed hilly half which takes place in the beautiful rolling hills of South Gloucestershire in early spring.I have always enjoyed running and cycling and find them both physically and mentally challenging, and a great way to escape from the pressures that we all face in our everyday lives. I am and have always been an avid reader, the particular genre's I enjoy are good intelligent horror, crime and biography, and always like to keep a well stocked bookcase...as well as loading my kindle with the latest and newest horror gems!!
My favourite road bicycle is the beautiful Giant Defy 1 which I use to commute most of the year, I enjoy it's smooth line and turn of speed...the wind in my hair...a smile on my face...as I arrive refreshed and possibly wind blown to face the new working day ahead...
